Meet Betty Sargent
Multi-Million Dollar REALTOR® | Trusted Community Leader | Lifelong Milton Resident
Thank you for the opportunity and privilege to assist you in your real estate journey—whether buying, selling, or both. I’m Betty Sargent, and for over 34 years I’ve had the honor of helping hundreds of families and individuals navigate one of life’s biggest milestones: buying or selling a home. Every transaction is personal to me, and I strive to provide the professionalism, dedication, and level of service each client deserves.
Since becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 1991, I’ve consistently maintained multi-million dollar sales annually, culminating in awards such as the Old Colony Diamond Award, Top Producer Award, and induction into the Old Colony Hall of Fame. These accomplishments are a direct result of a strong work ethic, deep market knowledge, and a true commitment to client satisfaction. I’m proud that many of my clients return for future transactions and refer their family and friends.
I understand that the real estate landscape is constantly evolving—especially in areas like financing. To better serve you, I maintain active relationships with local lenders and regularly attend industry seminars to stay current on mortgage trends and market conditions. I also work closely with my full-time partner Amber Midkiff and a part-time assistant to ensure seamless communication and timely support at every step.
Beyond my career, I’ve been a lifelong resident of Milton, West Virginia, where I’ve served three terms as Mayor and actively participated in numerous civic organizations, including the Milton Rotary, Milton Women’s Club, and Milton Garden Club. I’ve also served on the boards of the Huntington Museum of Art and the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. My proudest role, however, is being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
